Seriously, there MUST be something in those Scandinavian waters?!  They keep churning out the most amazing artists and music and when it comes to pop music, well, that’s pretty much their territory. R&B however, not so much their niche…until now. Marlene’s ‘Stay Awake’ is that perfect collision of a contemporary sound with a nostalgic twang. A pop song wrapped into a layer of soulful 90s R&B.
